Our hospitals often go unappreciated. Not only do they provide health care they are also major local employers. So, What is it that causes problems with hospitals, churches, schools and so many of our employers? At the very core of the issue is our loss of population. Fewer people translates into less activity and a downward spiral that impacts all facits if the local economy. Why do we have a declining population? The root cause is a government that is dis-proportionate to the size of the community and our failure to recognize the need for reform in the public sector. I'm going to say it again - dissolve all local governments and centralize all government functions at the county level. Iy would be the greatest thing we can do to restore growth and prosperity. All we need is leadership with courage and vision.

Sounds like Rhodes has a handle on things. Obviously Lawrence did a terrible job of running the facilities. He should have been fired long ago.
