Really? Because when I was there I had to wait for a young man from Puerto Rico who didn't speak English trying to get his license, another man who had something from out of state he was trying to register and some guy who had some DWI issue. I would love to be able to make an appointment because then I wouldn't have to guess how long it will take and roll the dice that I get there when they're not busy. The article said sometimes they're swamped and other times they're not and this will help spread that out better. Makes sense to me. My experience was different than yours so does that make me "Stupid"? It said "option" so if you're confident there's never a wait, then don't make an appointment and hope you don't go when they're busy.

Wiseup, so you went to the DMV once and didn't have to wait. If you don't need an appointment, don't make one. In my business I visit the DMV offices many times a month. An appointment system would be very helpful.
