Robertson, in her crusade to stop natural gas has never been much troubled by facts. As the late Senator Moynihan said, "You are entitled to your own opinion, but not to your own facts." Robertson is quick with her opinions on energy development. Keep in mind that while she claims to be responsible for good jobs in Tompkins County, she has worked hard to keep high paying energy development jobs out of the southern tier. The fact she doesn't mention is that 22% of the residents of her county live below the poverty line. There is much underemployment in Tompkins. She voted against corporate free speech and for the SAFE Act (before she voted against it). She would not fund reverse 911 while spending 1.2M fixing up the legislative chamber. Robertson's record speaks for itself.

Biomass is renewable and America has firmly rejected renewable resources time and time again. Don't even think about using it NRG, we'll run you out of town in spite of our professed need for your power plant.

Hers wasn't a real smart suggestion/idea -- she didnt think about it and didnt need to shore up her liberal base. A bit amateurish, but so is Fat Uncle Fester Reed.
