As the people of western New York get to know Robertson as well as we do in Tompkins, they will spot how she stops short of the whole truth. She says flexible Tom Reed won't consider alternatives, when it is Robertson who absolutely won't consider natural gas as an alternative, flat out rejecting it. Fact is she is an anti-gas activist who has lobbied against energy jobs for the southern tier. Yet, she was strangely silent when Cornell University, the major employer in her area, switched to natural gas. Robertson pledges not to accept oil and gas money for her campaign. What a joke! With her single minded dedication to block energy development and good jobs for the southern tier, she is no more likely to get so much as a dime from the industry as she would from the Republican Party. So, this pledge, is hollow. See it for what it is.
