A two-car accident at the intersection of Williams Street and Route 60 in the town of Dunkirk Thursday afternoon resulted in apparent injuries....

I've witnessed 5 between Walmart and Wendy's in the past two months. That is eye-witness! They all were people turning over the center lane at the same time and met in the middle or close to it. Can't imagine the total overall. I agree that people need to pay attention and be patient!

Agree with commentor. I never have a problem at that intersection because i actually have the patience to wait for the traffic to clear instead of gunning the engine to save 13 seconds on my trip. Typical over-reaction to a problem that simply exists due to bad drivers.

If drivers weren't idiots there wouldn't be so many accidents although 8 accidents in four years doesn't, to me, qualify as a lot of accidents. The idiots or those too old to be driving have to try and beat the other guy for three extra seconds. Wait until it is clear and safe to pull out and there won't be an accident.
