Right place at right time

August 14, 2013

When we think of picnics we usually think of relaxation and good food; rarely do we include opportunities for meeting with and listening to the dreams and aspirations of our elected officials....

And the great uniter continues to do great things TO this country. Just look at yourselves. Lock step in the party BS line...this is a comment section not an editorial. Write your own comments down and submit them, instead of whining about someone else that actually took the time and effort to do just that. And the troll needs a new line...again, that is just my comment.

While I admit the article lacked substance it was a far better read than "Poor Trayvon".

Aw the poor lefties cry about a conservative paper printing articles they don't like yet won't write one themselves. WHY? Fear of peer pressure from people who know them maybe.

A very typical church lady gossip status report presented at the weekly clueless church lady gaggle OBSERVER board meeting.

Obviously, the motion to accept the report was seconded and approved unanimously.

You asked Mr. Horrigan "HOW" but he answered "WHAT" needs to be done not how he would do it. Just a typical politician. They say what you want to hear and most, like the writer, eat it up!! She should have asked another question....."HOW" Mr. Horrigan not "WHAT"!!!

Where is the Paid for the Republican Party statement? Oh wait, this is just a great little story about a fun picnic. If the Dem's, Working Family, Green, and Independent parties have a picnic will we see such a wonderful long article? I did enjoy the positive statements about Sandy Sopek. Her doing a great job has nothing to do with Barmore.

Appalling political endorsement ad, trying to hide behind a commentary column.

Waiting for the commentary that will endorse every leading Democratic Party candidate. Of course this then should be followed up by commentaries for all other political parties such as the Green Party, Libertarian, etc

I am waiting for this paper to give a progressive a column. Let someone from the left of center voice their concerns, endorse candidates, and promote the liberal agenda in the same manner that this paper gives to those on the right, more conservative views.

Fair and Balanced

Republican endorsements not really commentary, even when you couch it in "folksy babble". Silly me, this is the Observer.
