Sorry joew, let me see if I can do better. Thanks in advance for your help. 1. He will leave before the end of his term. Will the County Attorney take over until the new Ct. Ex. term starts? 2. Won't this be double the transistion process and therefore a waste of time and money? He will have to fill in his replacement on everything he is doing and the replacement will have to fill in the newly elected Ct. Ex. 3. What is his pay going to be as he will not have finished his term? Will he recieve vacation pay, etc. and if so how much? It would seem that he would have used most of it while he was campaigning for Lt. Gov. 4. Will the taxpayer have to pay into his retirement for time he is not here? 5. Wasn't it his responsibility to inform the tax payers who pay his salary, at 100% local share, that he was leaving?

Ex-officials usually receive better offers from the many contacts they've made during their time in office.

Edwards may go on to do good things w/the Geddie Foundation, but his prejudicial treatment of CCH employees, his authorization to waste $440,000 on drilling a gas well that was quickly aborted soon thereafter, and his willingness to sell the home to highly questionable buyer (Avi) is what he'll be remembered for as our Co Exec.

Would be nice if the Ct. Ex. would have announced he is leaving his poistion before completeing his obligation to the taxpayers who voted for him. I have always said he is just looking for a better paying job and the taxpayers are paying for the hunt. So who will run our county until the new Ct. Ex. takes effect? How much time will be wasted in double transition, once to his replacement then two months later do it again. I hope some legislator asks for a TRUE accounting of his pay, fringe, vacation, and cost of retirement for this whole year and next til his term runs out.

Someone needs to look into the amount Edwards will be earning at the Gebbie Foundation. You might be surprised at how high it is!

I think the home should be sold, having said that I also think Edwards is a joke. Doesn't appear he has been truthful in alot of what he does. Hopefully the next person in that position has more integrity. Alot more!

Maybe Edwards can sell the CHH to the Gebbie Foundation before he leaves office. Maybe then the gas well would be hooked up. :-)
