It would seem as if jud and marcy have a vested interest in keeping the dead horse looking alive. Wonder how many in there families live off the taxpayers dime? Either by working for the home or drawing Social Services money.

So local resident, you don't think we should look into how his homes are run but instead just take his word that they are OK? That's not what Edwards said.

Wow! I will surely accept some random, unverified account of someone who "visited" the purchaser's POB as gospel! This does not in any way sound like an attempt at discrediting the buyer at all. Not one single bit!

I honestly believe that if Pope Francis offered to take over the county home, there are people out there who would try to destroy his creditibility.

Excellent points!!

Thank you for a first hand account of one of the nursing homes owned by Platschek. I wonder why if he only has owned these other homes for a year or so why he would be interested in buying yet another one. That in itself is reason to take a closer deeper look into his corporation.

Has anyone asked them how they would pay the employees the exact same pay, give them the same benefits, and yet still make a profit? Once we know this, perhaps there would be NO reason to sell as the County could just implement the same.

Of course anyone who bothered to actually read the report from the CGR would realize we have all been fooled. The HOME operates at a SURPLUS. A small one, but still a surplus. In addition, no one has told us just how much our taxes will go down if they sell. Answer..NOT ONE DIME. Yet, we will lose a state of the art facility that cares for our most vulnerable citizens.

And yes....back again to gas well..only cost us $500,000 no one seems
