I find most amusing how three people disagreed with me when there was no statement. I accidentally click to post before I wrote something. Gotta love it.

First of all let me state that I'm in favor of getting the NGR plant fired up again. However, for sake of argument, where does the author figure that the effluence that comes out of those stacks goes? Does the City of Dunkirk and Chautauqua County bottle it up? Or does it drift away on the prevailing southwest winds. And if it does generally drift away to the northeast, which county, Erie or Chautauqua, has to deal with it more? I raise that issue simply to point out that issues which may outwardly appear to be of a strictly local nature, may in fact involve valid regional concerns.

Jes' wonderin' - did you also send this letter to the Buffalo News for publication to ensure those interlopers from Erie County would read it?

We need to stop outside agitators from Erie County at the border! We need INS checkpoints in Irving, Gowanda and elsewhere to turn back undocumented Erie-County-ers. We need to blockade Exit 59. We should stop using the Buffalo Airport and now drive to Detroit to cross the border into Ontario. We need to change the name of Lake Erie to something else.

Geeeez, take a chill pill, will ya?
