Its very sad --people don't know right from wrong-- I was taught to not touch the clean window my mother just cleaned-- And it turns in to robbery and hurting people and these people end up at the end barrel of a firearm --There will be no help for them if they go to the wrong house--All because they didn't know right from wrong

Oh, it has nothing at all to do with not knowing the difference between right and wrong, don't make excuses for them. It's plain ol' just-don't-care-about-property-that-isn't-theirs, period.

they know right from wrong don't kid yourself why didn't the school secure the benches???? Maybe this wouldn't have happened if the school still had it's safety officer!! there are grants available but the school was too lazy to apply for them again!!! Sad the school can't teach respect!!!

Sad comment on our society today and a slap for all the good kids we still have...many, many more than bad ones. If true: someone dropped the ball" is a sad comentary.

I don't condone any acts of vandalism, but lets get real we all were young once and did stupid things. most of us grow up

Turn off the TV and watch our children change. The programs are teaching mean attitudes with no consequences. Ms Collins, you need to take the other bench back home. I, too, have fond memories of the conversations that took place while sitting on our old metal glider in the back yard. It is still in the family creating a spot for family memories.

School police?? How about parents that are hamstrung because their kid acted up at Wal-Mart, but some self-righteous d-bag calls CPS because someone spanked their kid when he totally deserved it?? Talk about negating teaching responsibility and manners, FFS...

Czychrab is right, turn off your kids' iPad, pc, iPod, tv, smartphone, etc for a couple weeks when they don't "need" them, and watch their creativity grow. Let them make the world around them their easel, not Facebook, YouTube, texting, Etc. the means to influence their imaginations.

kids nowadays are babies and the parents don't know how to parent. What ever happened to the proper discipline. I used to get my *** beat big time and I turned out okay. Child abuse?? that's BS. Wake up parents! I also remember when it was dark...I had to be on my own property and never roamed the streets at all hours
