Actually dabegr, when this all started, the Chief made claims of much more lofty figures. Anybody can change their figures and claim that they met their goal. Seems to be a lot of overtime for a tiny City of 12,000 people

Actually, Phil and baseball, the article says that the revenues projected will be met and exceeded, just not by as much as council wanted.

So the Chief sweet talks the Council and they buy it hook line and sinker! Does he have some dirt on Stacey, she appears to be eating right out of his hand, what a Joke!

Revenues from the ambulance service are not meeting projections! Now, there's a shock! I have to wonder if there is any verification of the legitimacy of all those sick days. Is a doctor's written excuse required or are taxpayers simply being robbed again? Oh, by the way, don't forget to include minimum staffing and no layoff clauses in those new union contracts. We will do fine as long as Mr. Ahlstrom keeps collecting his $100,000 per year in city and county wages and benefits.

"The last three months, June July and August, we've been over 70 overtime days in each of those months."

Can't let work cut into those summer vacations...

I thought that the ambulance billing was supposed to generate a lot of money? Isn't that what the Chief originally said!
