The new potential buyers said Edwards contacted them, so does this mean we won't have to pay M & M if we sell to them? Can Edwards make the honest statement that these people have NOTHING to do with Rothner? If the last guys sue the county for breach I hope we use our expert laywers and the tax payers do not have to pay for an outside firm. How can the same lawyer that serves at the pleasure of the head of the Executive Branch of Government give unbias advise the the Legislative Branch of the Government? Is that even legal?

"(Edwards) contacted Marcus and Millichap (the County Home's marketing group)...about the proposal."???

The marketing firm hired by Edwards (M&M) had to be informed that there's an interested buyer. Priceless!

Breaking News?

Thanks Country Executive for keeping the public..you know the ones you are suppose to work for...in the loop. Guess you are counting on few attending tonight meeting given such VERY short notice.

So much for transparency in our local government huh?

Sell it, give it away, or pay them to take it. Three acceptable choices.

Um...I hope the new buyers use a different law firm as their escrow agent. :-)

Is the other guy gonna sue for breack of contract, or did Edwards get outside legal advice that the County is "in the clear" regarding that?
