With post closed, what happens to legacy?

The yellowed papers on the wall echo old-time names of Dunkirk from nearly 70 years ago. They are among the many families that worked hard and made Dunkirk great back in its earlier day....

Phil, I wondered the same thing. Why have two Legion posts in Dunkirk? It doesn't make sense.

Add the name Frank Acquavia to the front of the post 62 building, transfer Franks memorial items to a section of the wall in the new Post 62 Frank Acquavia Post

I don;t know about the financial stability of Dunkirk's other veteran's organizations but would this not be a good time to consolidate all the vet's clubs under one roof at the former Acquavia Post> It is a beautiful building with plenty of parking in a great location.
