Why...?! Sounds like HONESTY to me. There are a lot of people that will benefit from wind power, not just Cannon who really does care about the residents and not just making himself look good.

Cannon is really a lose cannon. But why would you support someone who declares a conflict of interest. He stands to make 40K a year from wind power. And just whose interests would he be watching out for. This is the type of candidate you run as fast and as far away from as you can.

So the homeowner windmill and solar panels on Ball's property have no assessed value on them and he will pays no property tax on them ever, that doesn't seem right. He benefits from the free electric and electric he sells back to the power company yet no taxes are payed. Just doesn't seem right. Ball owns property close to a neighbor who is getting a commercial windmill in the wind project, I am sure he will be getting monies from the wind company for a good neighbor agreement. So for him to say he is not getting anything is not the truth.

Ball also has a windmill and solar panels that have no assessed value, he will never pay taxes on those structures. hmmm

Also, how legal is it of Nagel and Ball to send out a postcard with a 'sample ballot' on it that they personally crossed off Cannon's name?

Ball's immediate family stands to benefit from the windmill project, will he recuse himself from any vote on that? We the residents need to vote on ANY building project. A new town hall now would increase our taxes. Simply repair the current town hall! The board needs to wait until the monies from the windmill project come in to build a new one. Times are hard, we don't need our taxes increased. Cannon listens to the people and researches. We need more like him! No 'yes men' please

One more reason why all Town governments should be the first to go whenever shrinking government is discussed. They're a useless drain on local economies, provide very little service, and for the most part their entire expense could be replaced with a couple of County plow drivers and trucks. That is about the only service they provide.
