September 27, 2013

robert, don't you mean George Sorros and ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, and MSNBC? Conservatives have FOX and Liberals have all the others and they whine and complain. Can't blame you for whining though as FOX blows them all out of the water.

Judeye, surely you won't take a tax credit? I would think that you would want to pay as much as possible in taxes to help those who are less fortunate. You want others to have to pay the most they can and even more than they're required. Someone has to take the leadership roll and I think it would be nice of the Liberals started to lead and show the rest of us that it isn't painful to pay the most possible in taxes and not accept any credits.

By the way..how many of you have gone to the site to see how the Affordable Care Act (that so many do not understand IS Obamacare) might benefit YOU and YOUR family.

I just did...I think we might be eligible for a tax credit and maybe even a subsidy.

You know who is fighting this the most and why don't you? Think of it..insurance companies now must use 80% of the premiums on actual patient care rather than just pocket it for profits. They can no longer deny someone due to pre existing condition. They can no longer place a limit on how much treatment you can get.

Hmm...how much did our local rep receive from the insurance industry? Hmm...wonder how much his collection business might lose if no longer collecting on medical bills..

Follow the money....works almost every time.

It has been five years since I have worked. Yes things might have changed.

Still this is crazy. Really you want to make sure ILLEGALS do not get services, yet you are complaining if people then take down information? Which way do you want it? For anyone to get whatever without any documentation or do you agree that basic documentation is needed to determine if and what programs a person may be eligible for.

Good grief. Go and apply to Chautauqua Works..see if they ask you questions including documentation. Apply at COI, DSS, for a driver's license or even a non driver's license, see what documentation they will request. Try to enroll your child into school and not have to give information which will include MEDICAL records.

Good Grief have we all become so paranoid that even basic documentation is being called into question?

Oh we went computer..fully every client record....about ten years before I retired. Not ONE case of ID theft ever that I am aware of.

An employee of Minnesota’s Obamacare exchange, MNsure, sent an unencrypted file to the wrong person and left 2,400 people’s private information at the mercy of a nearby insurance agent.

One exchange staffer’s simple mistake gave insurance broker Jim Koester access to an Excel document of Social Security numbers, names, addresses and other personal data for whole a list of insurance agents. Luckily for the 2,400, Koester was cooperative — and unnerved.

“The more I thought about it, the more troubled I was,” Koester told the Minnesota Star Tribune. “What if this had fallen into the wrong hands? It’s scary. If this is happening now, how can clients of MNsure be confident their data is safe?”

Judeye, how long ago did you work for those agencies? Thanks to the internet, things have changed in the past 12 years or so concerning identity theft. You see on the news employees of every type of business using information of clients and customers for illegal purposes. Not everyone has your personal integrity and honesty.

All a criminal background check means is that you never got caught or convicted. Shoot, a guy who passed a criminal background check, was granted a Top Secret Clearance, and commissioned a Federal Officer in the US Army shot up Fort Hood. Sorry but passing a background check doesn't prove anything.

Not talking about "stretching the truth" Robot,I asked if you could explain the difference between the three I cited as opposed to the average guy(middle class)on the street. That comparison is not to be found in "fact check".

Judeye did you ever hear of identity theft in our new digital age? Come on be serious. Some two bit criminal in Dunkirk was able to steal money from the government using the identity of deceased persons!(allegedly of course)You sound like a honest and forthright person so I wouldn't expect that you did anything criminal. Having said that I do think however........oh never mind. Enjoy your day while "big brother" is hamstrung!

Robot perhaps you could explain to the other robots out there what the difference is between the exemptions granted by Obama to his union pals,Congress, and his big business campaign donors. That as opposed to what the average guy on the street ends up with?

"hundreds of thousands of people providing such services will have access to personal information about clients trying to find out how Obamacare affects them. Some of that information could be used in identity theft schemes to steal clients' money."

You have got to be kidding!

I worked for a non profit agency for decades. We were federally and state funded, and part of the services were based on income. We asked and got documentation of citizenship, income, and other personal information. NO ONE ever questioned if we were going to steal from our clients. And in all those decades NOT ONE of any of my colleagues in my agency or any of the other income based agencies I worked with EVER were charged or even suspected of using that information for personal gain.

This is so ridiculous and this paper KNOW IT.

Oh by the way, I never had to undergo a criminal background check either, although working with children in any agency does require such a background.

quick excerpt from factcheck . org ?Cruz repeated the false claim that members of Congress are exempt from the health care law. As we have written numerous times, the law requires congressional members and their staffs to get insurance through the newly created exchanges, so they are not exempt. In fact, the law prevents them from getting insurance through the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, like other federal employees. However, the federal government, will continue to make contributions toward the premiums of lawmakers and their staffs — just as most large employers do for their employees.

Sorry Mike I need to "call" you out on what you said. In order to keep the racist bigot happy why don't you change boy to any other fitting word(like loser, traitor or maybe say your "man"). You know the one that wants to start an unneeded war with Syria to take the focus off what he is doing.

"the killing of American citizens and managed to racially divide this country. As well as divide it along socio-economic lines and religious lines." so Mikey, you would have left this American citizen alone to continue working with the Taliban? Religous division?? Isn't the right the party that is constantly going on about the President being a Muslim? Economic division? Like getting rid of food stamps but repealing a tax hike on yachts??? sounds pretty fishy to me Mikey
