Nothing ‘special’ about Arkwright actions

October 5, 2013

Who is watching out for taxpayers in the Town of Arkwright? Obviously NOT the town supervisor and several of the Town Board members! A “special meeting” of the Arkwright Town Board took place Monday......

Audrey Buck will do and say anything to get her name in the paper. I do believe she has an agenda here or a family member that wanted to bid that job. I have worked for and around Dr. Buck for many years and I would not believe or trust her intensions ever. Dr. Buck also has a grudge against anyone not for the re-opening of the ball road bridge. Tax dollars wasted on a road that 6 people use. Just wants the attention.

Amazing the heating system does not come on the first time someone turns up the thermostat and they go out for bid to replace the furnace???? Ya its only taxpayer money no sense checking any further to see why its not working. This is a good example of how helpless the taxpayer is to stop actions like this individuals don't have the money to slap an injunction on them to stop this and politicians know it!!!! Dizzycron you are an idiot or one of the bone heahed people who passed this!

As a taxpayer from Arkwright... this is nothing new... look at the shape our roads are in.. horrible.... The town throws a few stones down once a summer and scrapes only part of the road while leaving the rest potholed and dangerous... Having town officials only do what benefits their interests is nothing new... It's time for new leaders!

I believe the author needs to do something with her Arkwright land besides attempting to establish a vineyard -- she clearly neither knows how to farm or harvest given the apparent, obvious & copious amount of sour grapes and whine she has.
