I compare teachers, BOEs and the financial messes they've made with those in Congress who've voted in favor of foreign FTAs, yet now complain that unemployment is too high???

THEY'VE created these self-inflicted problems through poor decisions! Now they are once again using the kids as leverage to try to correct the mess THEY'VE made!

You don't need to watch 60 Power Point presentations given by a biased committee, nor sit through 7 public informational sessions given by the same, to conclude why we're in this boat. A merger may help today, but it's not the answer b/c the same system and mindset that created these problems remains unchanged.

I bet they said the same thing about the Chaut/Mayville merger and they ARE now in the same boat as they were before the merger looking for money. The "facts" aren't known even if you think they are. It was recommended that one school be closed but that is not in the best interest of the "children" is it? NO because adults don't want it. The study was manipulated by the committees just like the Fredonia/Brocton one. When a building closure is suggested....game over!!

Will Westfield and Brocton screw up again by not merging? Westfield could have merged twice before and screwed up , Brocton could have merged with Fredonia and screwed up!! No surprise if all the low information voters show up again and vote this down!

Here are the FACTS, not rumor-I heard this or that-FACTS. The merger will benefit the students and taxpayers of the two districts. A solid point is made here: vote to support the merger but you also MUST elect solid School Board members to ensure a successful merger. This isn't about rumor and other such things it is about making sure our children have a 21st century education. Our children have to work in an economy yet defined and able to support themselves, education provides the basic tools to navigate the future but only if we give our children the best opportunity to do that. It is 2013 not 1913 make sure you vote from facts not fiction and I heard that.....
