Joew. You are actually correct. It isn't all gwbush's problem. But most of it is. He was given 6.7 trillion debt, and he increased it to 13.6 trillion. And please don't say what the debt was when Obama was inaugurated in January of 09, Bush's budget passed in september of 08 is the budget that really sank us, that budget takes us until sept of 09, and that is not Obama's debt. And the emergency appropriations that never appear on budget, those were bush.

hadenough, increase of national debt during presidencies: Reagan:18. Carter and LBJ:10. Bush Sr: 9, Nixon: 8 Bush Jr and Ford 7 Clinton and Obama 6. Now if republicans would raise capital gains taxes and get rid of corporate loopholes we wouldn't have to, but the republicans think rich people shouldn't pay their fair share.

So Judeye do your Democratic friends in Congress share any of the responsibility for the low ratings? A bill WAS passed fully funding the government with the exception of the "Train Wreck". Why won't your friends pass that and why won't your pal in the White House sign it? Judeye do you know why the deficit has diminished somewhat? I doubt it. Yes Judeye our national debt is approaching 17 TRILLION Dollars and climbing. Do you know the reason for that? Nope not George Bush's fault. In case you don't know, that's what all this hubbub is about, getting this monster under control. Maybe you don't care because you won't be around what the****bursts,is that it?

joew...ha ha...still his ratings are higher than the GOP

"Forty-four percent of those questioned say they approve of the job Obama's doing as president"

"the Republican Party is now viewed favorably by 28% of Americans, down from 38% in September. This is the lowest favorable rating measured for either party since Gallup began asking this question in 1992"

just 10% of Americans say they approve of the job Congress is doing, an all-time low in a CNN poll. And 87% say they disapprove of the job federal lawmakers are doing, higher than it's ever been in CNN polling.

"54% hold an unfavorable view (of TEA party) of the movement now in its fifth year."

joew...you do understand...well maybe not...

our debt..is exactly that a DEBT

It is money that has already been approved...by CONGRESS..to pay for such things as paying and equipping our troops.

You do not reduce a household budget by simply refusing to pay the credit card bill that you ran up so high.

We must pay our bills...and I do think that Congress finally "got it" after Heritage Foundation, and wall st...told them straight out . At least let us hope they got it.

Deficit is coming DOWN by the way. Not mentioned much on Fox or by Beck or Rush is it?

Get our people to work should be our number one objective rather than all this other distractions.

There is a civil war going on in the GOP right now..and I am hoping that the sane, reasonable, good old GOP will preside over these knuckleheads no nothings that somehow got elected. They have done nothing but grave harm to our Country and our system of democracy.

Oh please. You cannot negotiate which by the way takes two if one of the parties does not want to participate. Yes it's true. Obama wants it all his way or no way. Obama's solution to problems is to throw money at it. Folks would you like to throw money at all your problems? Sure you would but you can't. Your income is fixed and you can't print the money. Obama can. That is why he has incrasd the National debt six times since taking office. And this coming from a man who as Senator said it was irresponsible to do this. We pay in higher taxes and our children work part time. Enough is enough. 2014 is coming up and the president for his inability to lead the nation should be impeached. Have you tried signing up for Obama care? If you got a few free days try it.

He was shamed by the over 3 MILLION letters,Emails, and phone calls demanding he reinstate the payments. There were monies available to pay those benefits Marcia. If I post where you can go to read that for yourself will you actually do that or ignore it as you did with the info provided to you about County Services?

joew, has was Obama shamed into reinstating the funds, when Obama does not allocate funds, Congress does? Why joew, why? Republicans shut down the government and are realizing that services are actually provided by the government. Who would have thought? Not the tea party because they want to destroy our government.

hey judeye, how do you reason with lunatics. i hav asked that myself about you ! Fact after fact i quote, you mock or ignore them. Why is that? more facts for wrong again judeye ! Spirit of c o m promise. Its just after the civil war, the south lost of course. Now the log jam of laws to open up the west could begin. Pacific RR act,. the south saw cheap land as a threat to plantation and held up any laws for 30 years in congress. Good old fashion democratic c o m promise. Lincoln got the las passed and for marcia, people were aching to make money out west. Like the Koch brothers. So why libs, should we be dumb ? Cuz the dumbacrats were ? silver and gold flowed into the coffers. they were rich libs ! You know like we could be from fracking, but the deluded democrats want poor people ! Like the good old south !agree with the dumbacrats ? , never, disagree like lincoln did. marcia and judeye facts for you !No attack, just facts !

Judeye-"Stop the shut down...raise the debt ceiling...stop harming our Country". You don't think 16 TRILLION DOLLARS in debt and climbing is not harming our country? Have you noticed the value of the dollar as of late? Have you looked at the price of a 1 lb ribeye lately? If this President is doing so a great job why is the "printing" of money continuing in order to prop up the economy?

Judeye again you twist things. The President illegally modified at least two laws that I am aware of,one being Obamacare and do you know what the other is? EO's can not be used to change a law without approval from Congress.

hey judye, you say over and over we need good sources of information. I have given you ,many and you call them idiotic. How is it someone so unlearned like you can call learned people like my self wrong ? How do you expect ACA to work when it is 17,000 pages long. How in the face of all the failures of so called good intention laws that went awry do you still clamor for more. How can you ignore so many facts and history ? The govt is the problem judye. It is not meant to be a nanny as you and marcia want it to be. The guys will revolt in some way. It will suprise you like the WCTU was suprised at the violence in prohibition. prohibition was meant to stop the violence. It escalated.how can you support this when europe, due to socialism is the doldrums. Whats wrong with you ?

Obama was shamed into reinstating the benefits to our fallen warriors families after he said signing the bill was not necessary and his approval rating(total lack of leadership)fell to 37%.

I think/ HOPE this along with other recent polls just might wake the GOP fringe up to reality. Or will the letter from Koch bros to stop concentrating on defunding Obamacare that will get their attention.

Stop the shut down...raise the debt ceiling...stop harming our Country.

Stangv8...after you asked about where they got their money..had to look it up

from Snopes

In the Obamas' case, it was largely the revenue derived from Barack's pair of best-selling books that finally allowed them to retire their student loan debts. The couple experienced a significant jump in income from 2000 onwards (largely from royalties on book sales), and they purchased their Chicago home in 2005, a year in which their combined income was $1.6 million: The Obamas' best financial year came in 2005, when their total combined income was $1.6 million. That included $1.2 million in author fees for Obama's best-selling books. Michelle Obama's salary that year [as vice president for community and external affairs at the University of Chicago Hospitals] was $316,962 plus another $45,000 from TreeHouse Foods [for whom she served a member of the board of directors]."

Cornell Law School Legal Information Institute "Article II outlines the duties of the Executive Branch... can issue executive orders, which have the force of law but do not have to be approved by congress."

EO by President (full list can easily be found on internet)..GHW Bush 41 Obama 37 GW Bush 36 Clinton 45 Reagan 48 Nixon 58

Obama is NOT in the lead for EO In fact they seem to be fairly common in recent history.

If she were a Conservative Republican she wouldn't be talking like a Liberal Loon. The writer is nothing more than a RINO - heck, she didn't make a single spelling or grammatical error. The Tea Party doesn't want anything to do with her.

If you really want to help solve the problem, drop your party affiliation and join the ranks of independent voters. Your party is taking you for granted. It's not enough to vote for the other guy. Drop your party membership.

Judeye, how do you reason with lunatics? I know it's very difficult but Harry Reid and his ilk in the senate have to be reasoned with. His lunacy has allowed every budget proposal to sit on his desk for the past three years. So far this raving maniac has sat on every CR the House has sent. He won't even allow them to come up for a vote.

Judeye, you said: Why is it that when you go to Congress..if not a millionaire then, you come out one? How do they make millions serving the people?

I've asked that for years. A perfect recent example is Michelle Obama. Before being elected to the US Senate, she complained of how paying back those student loans were a burden on her and her family. Today, the Obama's are multimillionaires. I'm trying to figure how that happened.
