American? Yeah right. Anyway, so the Supremes called it a tax. So what? It is constitutional. You want to call a dog a cat, and then complain that it won't purr. Change your name from American to Dopey. And what of my support for Obama? It reeks? Really? You don't make much sense in your posts, so I'll take your comments with pride. And you say that the Dems are going to suspend elections. Just how stupid are you?

The ACA is not and never has been healthcare. It is a tax under the guise of an insurance policy. It has been ruled a tax by SCOTUS so therefore it is a tax. If not then it could not have been implemented as it would have been declared unconstitutional. If you think any different then you not only are a fool but probably a terrorist also.

Excuse me "Psychofux" but could you explain the "real Americans win this time" comment? I think you might want to read(even the Huffington Post) comments about how screwed up this Obamacare thing is.

There are a lot of very misinformed postings here. I get the impression that many of you don't really want to know the facts. Fortunately, real Americans win this time. Health insurance will be more affordable for Americans, and more jobs will be created for Americans. This fight was to stop a small group of unAmerican misinformed control-freaks from usurping the Constitution. ACA is the law. Yes, parts of it will be rewritten to correct "bugs" in the implementation. It is a huge endeavor, and simplistic thinkers just cannot fathom the complexity of it. The complexity of the health care system that had developed in America has been wrought with corruptive practices, and denial of health care for those that have had insurance. ACA is better.

Robot is such a racist. It hates white people totally. And is bigoted against older people also. Wonder how many hate crimes are committed by it and it's ilk.

George wanted a government by the people and for the people. Tea Party wants a government for old, white, top 1% people.

"If the Tea Party was active in 1776 it's a good bet that George Washington would have been the party leader" doubt if Phil, the tea party wants a weak federal government with little to no taxes (libertarians) George was fine with taxes (as long as we had representation) perhaps you forgot that part.

"Why is you refuse to answer that question, why???" the question does not deserve to be answered. The president DID NOT change any law outside the framework of the constitution oh uninformed one.

"Barry Obama I will not compromise. Barry Obama my way or the highway. No one matters to Barry Obama except Barry Obama." its funny how when a tea party terrorist says he is representing the people that voted for him it is fine. President Obama was elected twice oh foolish one. You may not agree with what he is doing or stands for but the majority does, hence the election victory and two terms in office.

If the Tea Party was active in 1776 it's a good bet that George Washington would have been the party leader. This country was not made great by those who accepted things the way they are. It was made great by those who saw wrong and fought to make it right. A debt of 17 trillion is wrong. Re-distribution of the wealth is wrong. Allowing special interests to control our government is wrong. Sending our soldiers to a war based on lies is wrong and finally forcing companies and individuals to buy insurance that they can't afford is wrong. Republicans will take most of the blame for the current mess but history will show that Republicans saw wrong and tried to make it better.

Go back to being a Constitutional Republic instead of an Obama monarchy. That's what I would like to see.

Why should the President dismantle this law? If he allows this, any president in the future will be at the mercy of any few people who want to put forth an agenda that the majority of congressional reps will not vote for. Is that what you want our country to be like?

Michelle Bachmann! “We should be happy, it’s end times! Millions upon millions are going to die! Hallelujah! Rejoice.” Good grief! Where are the men in white coats when you need them? Bachmann was a member of the first class of the O. W. Coburn School of Law, then a part of Oral Roberts University. While there, Bachmann studied with John Eidsmoe, whom she described in 2011 as "one of the professors who had a great influence on me". Bachmann worked as a research assistant on Eidsmoe's 1987 book Christianity and the Constitution, which argues that the United States was founded as a Christian theocracy, and should become one again. Indeed the Tea Party and its leaders like Bachmann, Cruz, Boner and Ron Paul want to dismantle our democratic republic and replace it with a Christian theocracy at any cost. If they want to live in a Theocracy let them move to Iran! They are traitors to American democracy.

stangv8..do not think they would shut down our entire government in a temper tantrum over it. Or threaten a default of our entire Country to make a point.

The TEA are ignorant of our laws and have NO respect for our government.

I pray that the sane members of the GOP will start to stand up against these terrorists.

Lord help us if they do not get it by Thursday...so that our entire Country goes into default...and with it all of us.

All those who disagree with our system of government...what do you wish to replace it with?

If you no longer believe in our laws and the system of how we make and change laws, just what do you want instead?

How do you think you can improve our system over what our forefathers envisioned in our Constitution?

If you do not want to change it, then you must agree shut down of our government is NOT a way to change an existing law. No matter how much you might disagree with that law.

All of this reminds me of playing games with my younger siblings when a child. When they started to lose..they would try to change the rules, and cry and shout unfair when I would not let them.

For one moment, imagine Bush was president and this was named Bushcare. Now imagine him granting waivers to Halliburton and industries owned by the Koch brothers. Can you imagine the outcry by the media and Democrats? You can bet your life that Democrats in congress would be calling for impeachment from the House and Senate floor.

"But according to Politico, Senate Republicans and Democrats are discussing a one-year delay of a different tax as part of a deal: The Transitional Reinsurance Fee.

You might ask: What is the Transitional Reinsurance Fee?

Here's what you need to know about it: •It's a temporary fee that is supposed to be imposed on most private health insurance plans for three years, from 2014 to 2016. •In 2014, the fee would be $63 per insured person, a cost that will likely be passed on as higher insurance premiums." And it is not just a one year tax either but at least three years(and we all know new taxes don't go away).

There are so many crises to manage, and so much discord, the Obama Administration may need to suspend the 2016 presidential elections just to ensure that a firm, steady, and capable hand remains on the wheel. Doesn't sound that far-fetched anymore does it?

Stang, that is a HUG reason NOT to sign up for Obamacare. One of the hardest things to undo, if it's even possible, is to regain your proper credit history/rating once your ID has been stolen. As hard as proving you're still living after you've mistakenly been declared legally dead.
