what's not mentioned here is that only one farmer displayed his produce at the market, and we also remember the council pushed for memorial park with out public input so how could it be a success when (5) people decide with out public support

How much drive through traffic is exiting Central Avenue at Rt. 5? Is it location or lack of advertising and participation by local farmers? Has anyone really studied the issue or are we talking knee jerk reaction? The parking lot across the street from the Boardwalk seems like a decent location. And that lack of wintertime activities mentioned? That WAS predicted by MANY!

we also believe there were better location choices to be had, how about open lot across from city hall, or the fair grounds, or the open lot next to the clarion, even the lot next to the former fish market, last but not least the boondoggle DLDC car lot were all better then the park, the market was doomed from the start because of PPP just like other city ideas
