the unlearned libs are at it again. the observer is on the mark ! It must have been a difficult decision to shorten the fire whistle. I hope an environmental impact study was done. It could even be linked to global warming folks ! There are no signs of a turnaround and this is what our govt leaders do. Its stupidity folks. The libs have made everyone stupid and thats the new norm. So Mr Editor, read and laugh at the liberal comments in your paper. Conservatives are always smarter than libs. American history proves it over and over. Thats why libs just dont know history. Actually they dont know much of anything. But the Observer editor does.

Apparently the disturber staff does not read it's own articles or they would know Forestville is not in the process of dissolution but only looking at the process and the possible results at this time.

As usual, the disturber uses only their neo-con biased yardstick to evaluate any and every decision. They aren't interested in reporting actual news.

Why is it when ever this town does something positive the Observer has to find something to make them look worse?? Did someone in Brocton offend you and they must pay forever? They have just shown what a great place they can be with the community coming together for Damon and for their 200 year celebration, yet you can't wait to find something negative.

Chuck, what's pathetic is a shortened fire whistle has warranted two articles in The Observer. This is such a pathetically small region.

What's next? Brocton to allow 6' privacy fences?

Oh wait.

Captain - My thoughts exactly. The Observer actually makes a good case in favor of keeping small government like villages. People WANT responsiveness of their elected officials - something that vanishes the larger the unit of government becomes.

This newspaper takes a valid concern raised by residents, and in sarcastic form, criticizes the mayor & trustees for addressing it. Why?

It's one thing for a local paper to voice a critical opinion of elected reps out of concern for the community they represent, it's quite another to make fun of them.

What is really pathetic is that the Observer decided to make this tiny issue their subject for this editorial.

That's because Brocton is stuck in the 1950s. Sad state that Village is in. Needs to be dissolved as well.
