hey dk, then you have succumbed to the libs. Do you ever see any lib giving in ? NEVER. look at schools, even whole cities, like detroit. Now ACA and you still want to be moderate ? Have you gone soft mentally ? You are just another liberal.

but rockefeller money had to play an important role. No money and i bet their influence would have been minimal.a moderate repub is one who agrees with a lib. we need more John D types. No deals, just annihilate the libs. the way america was since its founding. Once side trumps the other. A huge chunk of american history was done this way over slavery and civil rights. the libs fought back with the income tax. the john d model is how i arrived at every chemical thing and steinertron invention.

The Michael C. Rockefeller Arts Center, dedicated 10/17/1969, was named for Michael C. – not John D. – Rockefeller. JD was Michael’s great-grandfather, and Michael was the youngest son of Gov. Nelson A.

Gov. Rockefeller’s vision and drive made the SUNY system what it is today. He was also a moderate Republican (like me), and Lord knows there are far too few of those these days.

New York would be different without the rockefellers. One of my great idols, besides tesla is John D of Std oil fame. Money galore. if only Ida tarbell would have been entirely successful in her rants against John. She got the attention of her man, the govt via the courts and broke up std oil.The courts from the beginning thought they were superior to the legislative or executive branch. John had some of the greatest minds in america working for him. Ida did not realize that. Poor Ida. John told her family what do you want, peace or war ? they chose war and john destroyed her parents oil business. Imagine this gals, guys fascinated by hydrocarbons ! You gals never did catch on to their value! special to dk, with tweaks to the steinertrons, i bet i could drive the piston right out the crankcase with energized fuel. Even on a diesel !so gals you mess up always, never learning from the masters like John D.
