Jowl, kinda like the "required" rule that you harped on for months. Only later did you admit that they were "required" only if they wanted to merge or expand...funny how for months you left that out. That rule has been on the books for many years by the way and had nothing to do with FAnny Mae. It was created to stop banks from "red zoning" areas that could or couldn't be given loans. Kinda a race thing you see

Jowl will respond with "thats a lie" because thats this weeks talking point from FOX. but that being said, McCAin was born in Panama...doesn't matter his parents were citizens. Cruz was born in Canada...doesn't matter his mother is a citizen. Obama was born in Hawaii..wait...not a citizen his father was from Africa....what? Wait? what did I miss? Even if Mr. Obama was born in AFrica he is still a citizen because his mom is a citizen??? perhaps that rule only works for white people??

"It does not matter where he was physically born, it is automatic." jeeez, that can't be true, wasn't Obamas mother an american citizen?? by your argument then he is a citizen no questions asked. I wonder why there is still a segment in this society that thinks he isn't a citizen?? Can you say Tea Party?? Can you say FOX??

"Personally, taking out a dictator that has committed genocide seems like a worthy pursuit, but that's just me." really Badnews? So we should send troops into Syria?? Bet your rightie friends will disagree with that as well, until of course there is a republican in the White House. then we will have boots on the ground my friends...

The House controls the "purse" and they voted to fund EVERYTHING but one program" Wait bad news....are you saying the deficit isn't on Obama?? sure sounds like you are putting the blame right where it should go, you sure you want to do that? your rightie friends may disown you.

Jowl jowl jowl, thank you for proving my point about FOX watchers. You guys aren't allowed to believe or even watch other news sources unless of course they agree with FOX. You just cited what? four "liberal" media sources? Why? because they agree with the FOX perspective. when they don't then they are in the bag for the liberal media. you guys are hopeless

"FOX watchers never cease to amaze me. When the Tea Party first shut down the government they were all over every report on FOX saying how delighted they were, then the polls started coming in". Why must you continue to lie about this "delighted" thing robot, are you related to Obama? Maybe you should check into what CBS,NBC,CNN,and even your beloved Huffington Post are saying about Obama's lies!

And Bob, your assertion is ridiculous. You're saying the just because Syria had their own weapons, they couldn't possibly have agreed to hide their Ally's weapons, right? And to make the assertion that anyone claimed that Iran's nukes came from Iraq is ridiculous and shows sheer ignorance of the situation. As for the war being unjustified, that's debatable. Personally, taking out a dictator that has committed genocide seems like a worthy pursuit, but that's just me.

Bob, your ignorance is truly special. The House controls the "purse" and they voted to fund EVERYTHING but one program. It was the Dems in the Senate that refused the offer. Hence, it was ultimately their decision to shut the government down. This is something the rest of us like to call REALITY. The House has it within their power to defund any program at any time. Period. And as for your choices, good luck. Let the death spiral begin!

Mr. Regan makes some excellent points. Americans have become so fat and lazy that we can't be bothered with important issues. We have become so accostomed to disfunctional government that we accept it as a way of life. Polls show that about 12% of all Americans think congress is doing a good job. Is that not cause for great concern and immediate action? Do we care that while they tax us to death and with every new law they are passing they are removing the freedoms that made this country great? Special interests and their money are now in firm control of our country's future and no one seems to care. If there was ever a time for a third national political party it is now but I sometimes wonder if Americans are smart enough to dig our way out of this hole.

"That's right, chemical weapons which many feel came from Iraq." you left out the little tid bit that Syria already had chemical weapons. I guess if Iran had a nuke it would have come from Iraq as well? It was an unjustified war, yeah yeah dems voted for it. still unjustified

FOX watchers never cease to amaze me. When the Tea Party first shut down the government they were all over every report on FOX saying how delighted they were, then the polls started coming in. What was first "ha ha we shut it down" turned into "what is Obama doing?" and these watchers believe this crap unquestioningly. I guess the Propaganda of "we are the only station that reports the truth" has been swallowed whole by the gullible right......again

unTruth, you truly are weak-minded. The WMD argument was not, nor will it ever be a lie. Those in the intel groups have claimed from day one that they were moved with the most likely destination being Syria. Oh wait, what was just found in Syria? That's right, chemical weapons which many feel came from Iraq. Your opinions, and this loser unAffordable Careless Act, have no basis in fact and are built on outright lies, but don't worry, your Liar in Chief has revised history to support your position. And don't worry, you can keep your opinion, at least until he gives you a new one.

No Habitual Liar. I wasn't and never will be alright with that. Nor Bush's lying to get the US to attack Iraq. But replacing one lying weasel with another is NOT a step forward like you claim with so much smugness.

How can anyone defend the President when he said over and over and over again that "if you like your plan you can keep it period",and "if you like your doctor you can keep him or her period". There were no footnotes after the word "period",no disclaimers after the word "period" either! He lied,he knew he lied "PERIOD"! He intentionally mislead millions of Americans with his oft repeated lies,"PERIOD"

When the issues around the ACA settle, when the media--which are preponderantly sensationalistic right now--settle, the overwhelming benefits of the legislation will be what stands out. As for who lies--well, people who live in glass houses...("Iraqi evildoers perpetrated 9-11")

It's too bad you conservatives cut your teeth on the real "Liar-in-Chief"--George "There Are Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq and Iraqis perpetrated 9-11" Bush. You are unable to discern real danger from Faux News danger. As for Cruz, there is wiggle room in the natural born clause. American mother, but her residency length casts doubt about Teddy's claim to fulfilling the natural born clause. The Supreme Court hasn't been tested, and if Teddy boy really is your nominee (God help us), his citizenship should become an issue. He certainly casts doubt, whereas you T.P birthed fruitcakes had no reason to doubt Obama's citizenship. Does that cut through your cerebral murk?

Stop the name calling and finger pointing, it's 51 to 49, and this is probably one of the last chances you will get before the 49% take over and it will be too late.

UnTruth, the only thing weak here is you. You have no facts whatsoever. First off, Cruz has dual citizenship because his mother is a US Citizen. It does not matter where he was physically born, it is automatic. He is not an "alien" like the millions of illegals that your idol wants to grant amnesty to. And as for facts, I already gave them to you, but like the rest of the Libs, you're incapable of rational thought. What part of my example was so hard for you to understand? It's really quite simple. The Dems chose to close the gov't rather than accept full funding for every program, except one. PERIOD, as your Liar in Chief would say..
