Welch's first decided to move to the Boston area (Concord, which is kinda funny) because the bigwigs didn't like "small town America" and used the excuse of "can't recruit talent to move here" to high-tail it out of town.

Welch's left because Westfield and their water plant wouldnt work with them to be competitive with other areas and then sued them. Thats how you win the love of business leaders.

Anyway, this sure would have been a better location for the grape discovery center, and it would have cost $2 million dollars less than the car dealership.

Yes if The Town of Westfield can make a go of it why not---But Welchs as a whole just plan left the people and farmers --BECAUSE They had to be Big corporate giants and couldn't be bother with being in a little town were grape juice first flowed-- Today they are still hurting the farmers and paying just pennys for a pound of Grapes --Town of Westfield I wish you good luck-- paint over anything thing says Welches and let it say Westfield--
