captain, Old Honest Abe said it best "You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all the people all of the time" and finally when we assume it not rewarding for either of us, if the board was rightest it would vote ASAP to sell to only offer they have received, and save what little dignity, regard and public respect they have left..... your welcome

As I said before, I believe if the board was sincere in keeping LSH open, it would've (at the very least) filed Chapter 11. However, by doing so, this would've given the court and creditors the power to force a sale, and it's clear this is NOT what the board wants.

Was Dr H really that naive to believe that a glimmer of hope existed simply b/c of what John Galati was told to say by the board who appointed him?

Article in the Buffalo News today, Lakeshore is closing 2 weeks earlier than originally planned, it's done as of January 14, 20124 according to SEIU, the union negotiating unit for the employees. NO MENTION OF SALE, or a continuance of operations even on a smaller scale. Yep, some air blowing here alright, but no so fresh!

Of all the comments about profits, steering business and politics, there is a tremendous effects on so many people and families in this area who will be affected if TLC closes. Of course the people in the community who will not be able to access emergency care when they need it and the 460 employees and their families who will be deeply affected by their loss of income. But also the nursing home residents who lost their home, the mental health patients who will lose their counselors and the 200 clients of the longterm home health program who will lose their nurses and to them, more importantly, their aide who comes sometimes everyday to fix their lunch, feed their pet, get them out of bed into their wheel chair and back to bed at night. Efforts should be focused on assisting all of these people and families who will be affected.

Brad here is what I wrote"Well written commentary and a breath of fresh air. Thanks Dr Bob"!

Here is what Christopher wrote"I'm not sure why any of you are so negative! JoeW says it's all A-OK, so that means it's all A-OK"!! "PERIOD"! Never said it's all A-OK,simply said Dr Bob's commentary was a breath of fresh air.
