Not all parking spots are the same

December 12, 2013

In recent months I have been noticing that cars have been parking in the wheelchair van parking spots at local merchants....

Steiner comment cont' sometimes you find 2 cars parked vertically in them. In the summer time we can park further out in the lot and wheel to the store but in the winter (as it is now) it is impossible to maneuver in the lot with a motorized chair. Your idiotic comments and the amount of them only serve to show that YOU have too much time and your hands. Time that could be better served like policing the parking lot at Walmart and educating the public on the proper use of the wheelchair accessible van spots as was the intention of this letter. And my son is correct, I have at times attempted to educate people who are wrongly parked there. My husband and I volunteered (in his wheelchair and all) to ring the Bells for the Salvation Army and witnessed NUMEROUS violations. But because I was volunteering (working) I chose not to say anything because it was not the time. I knew I would regret coming back online to read the comments you wrote because based on your first comment.

Steiner, let me begin by saying that I purposely took the time to create a membership so that I could respond to your ill thoughts on the topic of parking spots. Let me also preface my remarks by stating that I am the mother/wife of the 16 yr old scout who wrote this letter as one of the requirements for his Communication badge and that he was very excited to see it in print. I WILL NOT let me know of the online comments or the fact that he can access the observer online. First your comments come off as the writer should spend his energy on researching his condition rather then to bring the wrong use of wheelchair van accessible spots to the publics attention. How could you make such a stupid assumption? Don't you think that my husband doesn't do this? It saddens me to see that amount of reading he does on his injury. And then to completely miss the message??? It's disgusting to see the people who park in these 4 spots (wheelchair van accessible spots).

an example of tinkering that is now rare in america. On a hillbilly show, guys were shown taking wood and gasifying it to hydrogen to burn for electricity. This is a neat process, it can be done by people who are clever. This was widespread in WW2. i can imagine the howls from the environmentalists.now we take the same clever chemistry thought, that is still used today, switch to quantum physics and the revolution it made and one will know how to build a steinertron. Of course dk and the rest will just mock and ,mock. Thats what ignorant people do is mock.where was the govt program now libs ? In ACA ? lets hear it liberals !

dk, what does drooling got to do with anything ? i used a great quote, just like you ! You are the next cronig. It really bugs you posters that there is such a guy like steiner. That there are people like hodgins on Bones in real life. your beloved govt, which you admire so much, failed you on this dk. and all those activist gals, doing the same script like ida tarbell noticed when the gals were lobbying for the vote, missed thnis. hey gals, try doing science , not demonstrating. lets hear it libs and especially those gals! science elude you much ? it sure has. anyone with industrial experience can do what i did. but then the gals at the EPA have declared war on industry in a further attempt to make us stupid and dependent on the govt.

hey dk, a quote from Oppenheimer, one of the fathers of the atomic bomb. he wondered why society had to develop such a weapon in the face of democracies rising in the world. More freedom than the old european way of doing things. he apparently missed the rise of the socialists, progressives and democrats. The MO of these people is pure coercion via income tax, sterilizations and now ACA. Oppie thought the bomb was pure coercion. Surrender or face destruction. so now the libs have accomplished what they wanted. A society based on coercion and fear. the libs are very proud of this. they never want any lasting solutions to anything as it puts the liberals out of business of selling govt programs and coercion.the populations mind has been dimmed so low, only repubs believe what i do now. the libs are mental defects.

dk, the new cronig is at it again. more name calling. I hope you post all these on your board so one can see how ignorant you are. someones paralysis is not my concern. Any one , given time, industrial experience can duplicate the machines. The population today does not seem to have the drive in it it had 50 years ago. They wait for someone else to do something. this is a direct result of liberals like cronig and their endless, but endless mantra, the govt did everything. i sympathize with the paralytics. But it is really not my problem. i get great enjoyment watching the libs on tv praising over and over again the wonderful socialist govt they have created. They get voted in . So i gather the people just want to be cared for. So the paralytics can just stay in the wheel chair, cruel as that sounds. make a mental effort folks. You do have a mind. Dont believe for an instant the libs like christopher, cronig and judeye with their endless, but endless govt worship.

einsteiner, you’ve claimed on several occasions your steinmirage cures some forms of cancer (in addition to raising gas mileage 25%).

Could you please tinker a bit with that marvelous invention to also help the writer’s stepfather? Or does even your “genius” have limits?

for the author, i would recommend you do what the workers who gave us antiseptic technique and anasthesia did. they did the work themselves. even robbing graves to study anatomy.you see, the medical experts thought they had all the facts, they actually fought the two greatest advances in medicine, painkiller and sterile technique. even activist women got in the fight, yes , the fight to stop painkiller ! one must go way off the beaten track to find the answer. the method of Bohr. Find this answer and the nerves will slowly heal. yep, you heard right, the nerves will slowly heal. for the remedy is out of this world and minds of all researchers.it is out of the reach of the libs who post here for sure. thank the teachers union and their love of darwin for paralysis folks.the libs want to paralyze you with taxes and even movement loss. they care, you know.

more for you stupid libs like cronig. The nerves are the one thing, along with the brain that are truly not of the 3 dimensional world we live in. this may be hard for cronig to understand. The optic nerve transmits 10 to the minus 6 amp i read in a book. That minute amount of current is enough for vision.Obviously then something else is being utilized, possibly one of cronigs govt programs. Now electricity for sure is part of this world and part of the heisenberg world. Any good electric text will show that. That means for the unlearned libs here, we have something operating in the human that has its origins above the air glow layer in the atmosphere. it is outer space in origin and construction. thats why, when damaged, it will not heal like the rest of the wounds do. A true enigma for the dumb darwin people.the nerves prove an outer space origin of the human, not just earth. but libs are dumb too. just read their posts.

you libs sure are stupid. Exactly how am i picking on a person in a wheel chair ? You libs just say stuff with no proof or examples. cronig is noted for this.I personally have not seen the problem described by the author. every place I go has an abundance of empty handicapped spots . you libs just have eruptions of stupididty and nothing else. It is science to you. If i was paralyzed like the author describes, i would read everything i could get my hands on to see if i could reverse it.nerves are a total mystery to medical science and noone asks why this is so. they do however mock like cronig and the rest always but always do. libs, try and be specific ! I do not see it in your posts, just continual mocks from a guy whose inventions saved 10, 000 lives.

Hey no argument from me. Cade was out there doing the best he could. The coach knew the concern and played the odds. I think I would have too... but you know how well our vision is looking back.

Hard to believe that Cade Foster got all that hate mail even including a death threat! It was nice that President Bush sent him a note in an attempt to sooth the pain he must have been feeling.

I agree PR. The people who leave the shopping carts in the lot instead of using the corral especially on windy days are really lazy as well. How about the ones that use the motorized carts and then hop off and walk perfectly fine through the parking lot.

Yes Cade Foster did miss several times in the game, all so the coach made some bad calls and especailly the 50 plus yard field goal at the end of the game. just run the clock and play OT. Nope we will go for a field goal almost impossible to make and hope they dont run it back against our great defense.... opps what defense ? Buy the way this is my log in name i have had for over 12 years... Cade Foster , sci fi show. But thanks for the question. Good to hear from you.

All you that agree with Steiner, are the same people who scream kick and cry when you are walmart and someone parks to close to your door and you cant get it or out of your car. That how the guy in his handicapped van feels everyday. People on here are complaining about having to walk or find a parking spot close to the store. Imagine rolling a wheel chair that distance everyday. respect for others is more important to me than having the closest parking stop to the store.

This is the laziest town I've ever seen. Between fake "handicapped" individuals taking spots that are needed, like by the gentleman described in the article, or parking in fire lanes while passengers go into liquor stores or TOPS. Seriously, you can't find a real parking space and walk the 50' into the store?

I thought motorist were put on notice about 4 months ago that this would no longer be tolerated. I was at O'Malia's the other evening while a mini-van parked in the fire lane next to the store. It's bad enough when they do that for a passenger but this person just kept the car running and went in HERSELF!

The outright arrogant laziness of some.

No you pick on a person in a wheel chair, really thats an all time low for you STEINER. The individual is correct, a van access spot is for wheelchairs. Not the guy with a tag hanging of his mirror because his leg hurts. They can have more goals than just one. Perhaps you should acknowledge you are wrong this time Steiner !!!!!!!

Being paralyzed would be a bummer for sure. One thing mystifies the medical profession, more than cancer is what exactly the nerves are, what do they do and why wont they heal like a bone or a flesh wound would.I am very sorry for your problem.perhaps one, if paralyzed should devote their remaining energies for a medical solution, if possible, I mean if their condition allows for some mobilty .
