You tell em' Hedge! You can never please everyone, but there are plenty of folks that are grateful for all that you do to keep the roads clear.

Really? 12 hours a day 10 straight days? That is wonderful. Try working 13 days straight 12 hour shifts making 10 bucks an hour like most people do in this region to support their family. Sit back and enjoy your cushy state job and benefits. You don't get my sympathy. People who need to defend themselves in the paper are usually the ones who are guilty of exactly what was written.

Thank you Mr. Plow man. You know what they say "never criticize a man til you walk a mile in his moccasins." The only thing that counts is that you know you are doing your best. Everything else is just an opinion.

Right on, jaycee, and although you can't please everyone, some posters prove that no matter what you do, they'll NEVER be happy.

"OK lets hear a dunkirk plow guy tell us how many hours they work and blah, blah, blah" I'd LOVE to see you try and keep up with a storm dumping that much snow and with alternate parking to deal with. Easy to take shots from the comfort of your living room. I will say the early snow at Thanksgiving was not dealt with very well, but this last blast, they did as good a job as possible, I thought.

So clown, your bad life is someone else's fault? You begrudge others the fruits and rewards of their labor? You must be really happy with Obamacare.

Now operating a plow on the state roads is a bit different than operating a plow in the city. Speeds are lower. Intersections are known and the alternate parking that's something people without driveways will have to deal with.
