Its all a family, you take of me and i take of you. The only group that is not taken care of is the tax payer.

Raises should be given to those who earn them through greater productivity or greater responsibility. The fact that a person has been on the job for year longer does not justify a pay raise. It is the organized element of the public sector that is at the core of our fiscal problems.

Another win-win? I guess this has become the standard response to say the BOE has done a good job. Fair? Who are we talking about here? IMO, a fair deal should include tax relief to those who are footing such "fair" & "win-win" CBAs.

2.5% increase is fair, however, employee pymt of ins should have increased. We don't know what % they pay but I'm sure it is low. It would also be interesting to know all the details seeing as taxpayers foot the bill. I'm glad DiBonzo is happy. He's happy I guess the world should be happy.
