yes it is so good for the SA population that the next prez contender wants to steal land from the white landowners for fairness. i could not for the life of me understand all that singing and dancing at a funeral. what do they do when a baby is born ? Mourn for the difficult life it will have in south africa? African culture is not understandable to me. To live in a country loaded with oil, gas, precious minerals and have to resort to stealing is amazing. for the author to link the sandy school shootings to mandela tells me mac has an artery problem or is using medical marijuana. the shooter had all the potential to be a liberal. vast mental illness, delusions of godhood. the libs call that saving the planet.mac, when you pass, i guess i wil sing and dance at one less mentally challenged author. What would you do when a great inventor passes away ? we should have danced at the kids funerals. they did not put a tire on ones kneck and set fire to it like mandela did.

Interesting article, but I have to say that with over 30 years as a genealogist, you are 100% wrong about half the children born prior to this century not making it to puberty. I cannot understand who started this myth that we live so much longer now than we did a century ago. My grandparents lived longer than my parents did. There were many ways to die back then just like now. It's just that a buggy accident is a different way than a car accident. We haven't stopped death from illnesses, we just have created new illnesses. Our food is less nutritious and we are exposed to more chemicals. It's all the same.

Because SA is no greedy like you Steiner. All you want to do in drill because we can. And yes it ok to take what was taken from them. How do you think the Native Americans fell. Was it ok for us to take from them ? They danced because they celebrate the life of the child. By the way you cant dance at your own funeral.

Get back to me in five years Mac. SA will be starving because those dreaeded white men and their farms will be waste lands rather than producing food. And Mandela was a typical liberal. He was a violent thug in his youth but because he lived so long he is now to be worshipped? No, I won't laud a thug.

Mike, does it occur to you that more than 20 years in prison may have purified and crystallized Mandela's purposes into the NON-VIOLENT mantle he wore for most of his life? You act as though nobody evolves, and you assume people are one-dimensional. We honor Mandela because he did a whole lot of good and displayed monumental endurance and courage. The fact that you can't grasp that makes me glad I'm on the liberal side of American thinking.

Still happily liberal. Your opinions can't sway me, and your Fox truths certainly...well...aren't.

Fox truths? Same could be said for MSNBC, NBC, CBS. That you blindly believe what you read is...expected.

I'm not sure the exact number of people Mandela killed, but it may indeed be much higher than Hess, for example....or Ted Bundy, or the Green River Killer, etc.

cade , you goofed up again ! you missed facts again ! The SA are greedy. they want to steal the white mans land because it was not fair or rather for fairness, equity and social justice ! was what we did to the native americans fair? you bet it was. cade you are ignorant of any philosophy or what the drivers are in history.by this i mean, what the purpose of history and philosophy are. nietzche said it best , later copied by the marxists , that it was conflict(class struggle for the marxists) that was the fly wheel of history. the driver. what made things happen. So cade, you are really an ignorant person masquerading as a smart liberal. but stupidity is hard to mask. it was the curious european that made EVERYTHING happen. Now this conflict thing goes all the way back to zoroasters time. Any good philosopher would see it,but you dont fit that description do you cade.

more for cade, the native americans fit the story of cain and abel. this story, famous since ancient times is much more than meets the eye. Abel was the live off the land types.nature as it exists. this fits the indians to a tee. the LWV is Abel, they represent the female side and NURTURE.Now cain would be the scientist or inventor, like steiner. Does not believe in leaving nature as he finds it.But rather in modifying it after finding its laws. that is exactly what cain and later steiner would do. all to the howls and mental disorders of the liberals and females. ALL of the major political leaders knew this, even if you dont cade.so it was no big thing to displace the natives either thru disease or war and establish the kingdom of cain, or rather steiner. understand so far ?

you see cade, this is the story, all known to philosophers and scholars but some how lost to the liberals and especially the gals. for the gals just dont understand science or philosophy. they say so themselves. Since zoroasters time and again and again, conflict between these two types , the cains and abels, drives society. Mock if you must, but that just shows how ignorant of science, history and philosophy you realy are. of coures cronig thinks it was liberal largess. How he arrives at that in the face of history escapes me, but libs are loonies. did ya understand any of this cade ? need a teacher ?

more for cade, now who was the historical author of this struggle, the struggle made famous by the marxists ? It was none other than father time or better known, the Father in christianity.this struggle makes the libs hate religion even as the socialists rack up deaths by the millions in their quest for utopia. the father had two sons, one ahura maza or christ and the other his retard brother, ahriman, the liberal. Or aingra mayu. They were then locked in a continous struggle to the death the story goes. ahriman succeeded in killing christ and a great many of his followers.now this ahriman, associated with births the story goes, made all the races pop out at once. the races were supposed to succeed one after another. now, the father works with one race at a time cade. can you guess which one that is ? which race made all of science or nearly all of it ? thats the one. now govts formulated policy on this very scheme, they really did. thats how we got what we got.

cade, you cant dance at your own funeral ? wrong again. many near death experiences tell of a certain consciousness of an idividual. Up till 3 or 4 hundred ad, many people could sense this consciousness of a departed one. Today that would be known as the heisenberg replica of one or the debroglie wave replica. So cade, you are wrong again and again.now steiner, when he passes away , maybe at age 200 hundred for the steinertrons will add years will certainly be able to dance at his own funeral. this story was known, for sure to the brit leadership a hundred or so years ago. I think even bush believes it. the legends are old as the hills and there is some proof in history of what i say.

hdey usvet, we have not stopped certain illnesses ? are you kidding ? lets see. snallpox, mealses, chicken pox, polio were stopped. Water borne disease by chlorinating the water supply. Sewers took care of cholera and the rest. You are wrong on this by a galaxy. chemicals bad ,maybe ,see bhopal. But chemicals like what fritz haber did, bread from air feed about half the world. hey vet, you just fell for the liberal largess, the liberal stupidity we see all over the place.chemicals bad ? did ya forget painkiller ? would you want an operation without painkiller ? that was the norm not too many years ago..The chemists took care of that and you say chemicals are bad ? are you nuts ?

hey vet, it was not medical science that prolongued life, but sanitation via sewers and cleanwater that did this. the medical profession, experts at science fought this all the way they could. Thank god for the people in the water plants and sewer plants. they did it, the biggest boon to mankind since painkiller , which also was fought by the experts. still think we have not stopped disease ?

Not all "truths" are created equal. If you actually watched liberal tv, you'd hang your head in shame. And Mandela equals Ted Bundy!? Green River Killer!? No wonder the U.S. ranks #15-25 among civilized nations in every measurement (medical, education, infant mortality, satisfaction, economy...) People like you keep voting, laws are passed, and we continue to decline. Yup, 30 years of Reagan. What a mess.

30 years of Reagan panned out a whole lot better than 6 years of Obama.

And a smart person would watch multiple news sources and form their own opinion, not just turn it to Maddow and leave it there.

Mandela did do some great things, but quit kidding yourself. He also has a very shady past. Technically, you could compare him to GRK in body count alone.

Local Van Winkle, did you just wake up!? Reagan's pogroms (oops, I mean programs) dismantled mental health care, libraries, food programs ("ketchup is a vegetable"). He set in motion the subsequent undoing of the most popular and universally lauded economic safety net in history. He traded arms for hostages. And his "voodoo economics" as George I called it has been disastrous. If you think Obama is really a problem, you're off your nut by a thousand miles.

FYI Local, I not only watch it all, but I also read everything from WSJ to The Economist to The Progressive to the New Republic. Do you? So don't cast stones because you're ignorant of your target. And MSNBC doesn't think the pinkness of Easy Bake ovens is a legitimate news topic. (How do I know that? Duh! I watch Fox News.) So what did you learn on Maddow recently? MSNBC also doesn't think the fake "war on Christmas" is real. News Flash--Bing Crosby said "Happy Holidays" in movies and songs made 70 years ago. So by all means, Drone, stay tuned to Faux. And don't change that dial.

Umm, yeah, speaking about casting stones, you're being hypocritical. I get my news from a ton of places. As for Maddow, I've learned she is the liberal version of Bill O'Reilly: Smart and educated, but obviously forcing her agenda. Regan also dealt with fixing Carter's f-ups (Iran hostage rescue), finished off Russian Communism, Lowered taxes, fixed the absurd interest rates, reduced inflation from 10.4% (thanks, Jimmy!), reduced regulation while raising barriers for imports.

Lastly, you're getting all angry, stop it, you're going to wind up all spit-covered like Matthews. Chill out.

Oh, and ironic how you're parroting my comments to you. C'mon, get creative!

The problem with watching O'Reilly and Hannity is you start to see anger where there is none. I don't need to be angry. I have good thoughts, good will, good plans and politics going for me. I just wish my countrymen would stop voting for evil people. Tea Party is evil. Republicans are lining right up behind them. And seriously!? Reagan undid Communism? Mythology, Sir. The Soviet Union was more inherently flawed and already on the track to self-destruct than even Kennedy knew. All anyone in the 80's had to do (and it was Reagan because morons elected him) was blow gently on the Beast and it dissolved. FYI, Reagan's tax rates are what his successor Repubs are fighting in your effort to redistribute income upward some more. Clinton was the one who undid Reagan's deficit and repressive tax policies.

Thank God for the MSNBC lineup--especially Ed Schultz--for standing up for the vast majority of Americans, for illuminating the Republican ravages of corporate welfare, for graphing out the obscene economics of 30 Reagan years and for vigilantly revealing why we rank behind every western country in the world in every standard of living. Do you really think Swedes are saying, "Damn, I wish I was an American"? Your chauvinistic (as in nationalism) myth makers on the right want you to think so. Why don't you make your way around the western world and ask people. You'd have to retreat into your myth making machinery for sure.

Hard to believe you really think Reagan keeping people in captivity to work out his arms deal was morally OK. Just one more instance of the broken moral compass that marks Republican policies and, sadly, too many of those who keep voting these evildoers in.
