I would like to hear a good reason why Dunkirk spends $20,000 per year on each student while students achievement continues to suffer. I have to assume we are over spending on special education programs. Our demographics are similar to Jamestown but the last time I looked our special ed. costs were almost double the spending in Jamestown, As for the NRG pilot agreement when NRG officials were present at the July meeting at Fredonia State I specifically asked them if the pilot payments would go up, down or sideways if the conversion plan was successful. The answer given was that NRG payments would at least stay the same or possibly go higher.
