whatsa matter, no sense of humor, or do you think poking fun at the NRA is sacrilegious? Never mind, we all know the answer to that.

I see once again that your reading comprehension problem has popped up. There are no specifics in Captains reply. I know of several specifics that would have saved money but were not put into effect Christopher, can you guess why?

He clearly answered you Joey, but as usual, you just repeat your inane and unanswerable BS and smugly repeat yourself, while ignoring the fact that he DID answer you. Ridiculous.

Well Captain I in fact(not allegedly)read all 120 pages+ and the CGR said that the facility was well run,(that reflects on the administrator)so again I ask a very simple question which again is-"Please tell us Captain what exactly did Mr Hellwig do or not do(specifics please)to make the the home a financial loser"? Could you please give us a page # or perhaps an appendix to support your allegation? Thank you. Despite what your good friend pauly says one should be able to identify specifics when accusing someone of making a "business" a loser right? Please as well note that I did not say you were a liar or say you full of %%%% as you did, just a very respectful question.

And you know as well as I do Joey sweetie that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see a poorly run business, but still not have the EXACT, inside specificity YOU'D require and you know that before you ask, it's a game. You also have never once done the same when requested of you by others. Looking at Brooks and lakeshore, it doesn't require specificity to see one run differently than the other though of similar size and actually with Lakeshore having services that Brooks doesn't. Just like your continual harping about something the Observer won't let me say, and knowing that, so you're safe from rebuttal. (sort of)All fun and games with you.

The CGR, which joe has allegedly read (and so have I, briefly) speaks for itself. The auditor SPECIFICALLY identified "several" problem areas, AND recommended how cost savings in said areas could be achieved, but for some odd reason, both Edwards & Hellwig refused to comply (gee, I wonder why), even after the 2nd CGR, which wasted another $80,000 b/c the 2nd CGR REPEATED THE SAME CONCLUSIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS contained in the first one.

joe: give it up, you're full of ****e on this one, and everyone knows it! If you want specifics, look them up yourself b/c they're all clearly noted in the last CGR.

You ALWAYS ask for questions, yet avoid any and all asked of you, Joey sweetie. That's your game. SO, again, prove Captain WRONG!

joe: You claim you read the last CGR report, which coincidently repeated many of the same weaknesses that were identified in the first CGR (also during Hellwig's tenure as Admin), and specific cost saving measures were recommended 3 yrs earlier in the first report but NEVER complied with. Are these the specifics you're referring to?

This starts to make sense now. Wait and see who's name pops up as an administrator at a nursing home owned by whomever purchases a former county-owned facility.

Hellwig comes from Chaut Co to Catt Co, which has "...found its nursing homes in a financial situation that may require similar action (privatizing) down the road."

Well, I'll say this, Catt Co certainly found the right man if it's motive is to sell. Hellwig has proven he can follow orders and take a slightly profitable facility and make it a loser. This is turn will garner all the support needed to sell, as was proven in Chaut Co. If this is the reputation Hellwig is seeking, then more power to him.

let's see hire a director from a negative revenue home to run another revenue negative home, seems to us that Chautauqua and Catt. counties have no understanding of the meaning of "insanity", people of Catt. County you have our best wishes, for history shows you're going to need it
