more evidence that hamot has been only concerned about brooks from the start. now they have gotten brooks' name on lake shores' clinics. not good!!

was fired in mid OCT and sent back to his 3 UPMC jobs at 2 of their hospitals VP at Hamot and President and CEO of Kane hospital. Ask them what happened to the Braddock Pa hospital that they bought closed, the razed the buildings to market the real estate. No wonder they didn't intend to sell the hospital just close it.

More rhetoric for UPMC to get its foot out of its mouth. LERHSNY was a group formed to try and get the 3 hospitals on a better track after the Berger Commission report ( which if you read the Berger commission report did not recommend closing Lakeshore but keeping the critical care ER parts and reconfiguring services to make it more solvent. the flood took care of one hospital which UPMC refused to rebuild when they came on board in 2011 and so the next goal was to get rid of Lakeshore because Brooks had already aligned itself with UPMC Hamot for specialized treatment. Most Lakeshore patients go to Buffalo for specialized care because it is much closer. Another question, why would you close a hospital that has a total of 220 beds and keep one with only 65. What happens to all the mental health and chemical dependency beds. There is only one facility in Erie Co. and one in Chaut. both with limited beds and are always over crowded. I don't know why Rhodes is even mentioned because he(
