I thought the piece would be about Redwing.....then changed around. I think Fredonia is on the right track on those points presented. I was happy to see the Chadwick Bay signs come down off the railroad overpasses in Dunkirk. Bad idea I think the try to change the regional name. The committees mentioned are mostly do noting time and money wasters. I'm sure that Fredonia would jump at any good, well thought out proposals. In the meantime I am going to get a copy of the Red Wing publication. Thanks for that info.

Good for Fredonia Mayor and Board to have the guts to think of it's taxpayers and not agree to something not beneficial to Fredonia. Dumpkirk is a mess, Village residents pay taxes to the Town and receive no services and the Town is run by a bunch of clowns and someone who wears a strainer on his head. Stay strong Mayor and Board. Just say NO!!!

The first half of this article wasn't bad, as it was about Red Wing’s history.

The 2nd half was just a cheap shot at Fredonia and really has no place in this article.

I chalk it up to bad reporting.
