I didn't realize that your name reflected your mental diagnosis Psychofux. Bush and a whole lot of congress pushed for the so called Patriot act. But Obama is the one that strengthened it and also refuses to enforce the law of the land. That is a dictator, not an elected representative of the people. You need to read something besides the party line garbage you spew.

The Patriot Act wasn't passed by Obama, that was Bush. Mike seems to think that the erosion of our Constitution began with Obama. I think that by expanding gun rights more than any other president should give Obama some credit. In another thread, some complained that Holder isn't enforcing all of the laws! So…does that mean that they want Obama to enforce the laws passed by Bush? or not? I guess with many of you, Obama is*******if he does,*******if he doesn't. At least he isn't letting terrorists control us, like you-know-who did. Obama got Bin Laden, Bush refused to. Obama got the pirates, Bush refused to. Obama has this country on a better course. The best course? Eh, who's to say. Time will tell. Time certainly has told us that Bush was woeful.

It isn't something to be impressed about Paul. If America hadn't had to suffer through the stupidity of the Bush years we would very likely have elected someone else instead of the political neophyte Obama as president. He's as far removed from understanding the office as Bush was..unfortunately he is doing far more harm than Bush did. Money that G.W. wasted can be replaced, the Constitution cannot.

As for SUNY, SUNY has overpriced itself beyond it's intent, which was to provide a decent and AFFORDABLE college opportunity for middle class students, not a competitor to private colleges.

Wow, MikeDavis, that would include the 8 GW Bush years, I AM impressed. I agree about Eisenhower, and would describe myself as an Eisenhower Republican. Unfortunately, nowadays, that spells "Liberal" to what passes as the Republican party. With the almost total corruption of Congress, I see little hope for the future.

The whole SUNY system have made great strides since my graduation in 1963 at Brockport. Returning last summer for our 50th class reunion was a real eye opener. There was a great vision at the state level to bring about that change.

Unfortunatly this country hasn't had a great leader since Eisenhower. A couple of good ones, a couple of above average. The rest? Well, look at the shape the country is in for your answer. Once Obama's term is over America will have suffered through sixteen years of inept leadership. We will be paying the price for at least the following sixteen.
