March 14, 2014

March 31 may be a significant — and very expensive — date in your life. Don’t know why? That is not unusual. Tens of millions of Americans do not, according to public opinion polls....

Most of you have no compassion or empathy. You need to walk a mile in someone else's shoes. Like, for instance, your publicly paid garbage collectors.

"The Dictator" did not invent the ACA. Republicans in the Clinton era did. Get over yourselves. And by the way, you have to retract your vitriol over Dubya having been compared to Hitler if you're going to indulge in the "Obama the Dictator" trope.

And a quick question who pays for these indestructible young adults when they show up in the emergency room with no insurance since they didn't need it . so you wil pay one way or another, might as well get them to contribute to their own health , and if Im not mistaken I have fire insurance for my house even though Im not planning on it to burn down.

Joe, for you to be on the forefront of ANYTHING criticizing ANYONE in authority or wearing a uniform for a living for doing ANYTHING would be an impossibility for you. People like you are why it's so easy for Dictators to gain control. If the present Military were to storm the White House by force, you'd be first in line to sign up for newly formed local "militias" to enforce the new "laws" of governance.

At work we have a administration that states if you have a complaint come with a plan of correction. This eliminates alot of whining and cryng by co-workers that disrupts the work place. I see this would do wonders for most of you all on here. keep checking your binders maybe you'll find something . lol

This is typical reaction from Americans. Instead of checking out the facts in the beginning procrastination sets in and wait until the last moment to act or not act. One must remember that all things come to pass. It may take awhile but it will happen. YOur best option is to start when first informed and do your homework. Now its to late and purchasing power what you do have will be eroded even further. Sort of like the Fire Department giving up two positions during contract negotiations and now we pay for the overtime incurred by the members. But hey it isn't obamas or dolces money.

Yes there are quite a few stops being made and if the State Police were/are trampling on citizen rights I'd be in the forefront with criticism. I will tell you that(I asked a friend who is a trooper)people need to keep their cell phones out of their mouths while driving.

Has anyone else noticed the increase in the number of people getting pulled over by the state police. Every time I make a trip to Wal-Mart or Tops someone is pulled over with the lights flashing. I must say the light display is quite impressive, but it seems the police are having a field day on the drivers in this area. Maybe its just me, but it seems like overkill.

joew, the public employee raises have already reduced my cable coverage to basic, around 20 channels. I never owned a cell phone, so what I am I supposed to do? Its Spring so I can clean the garage out and have a sale. With my luck, the state will show up asking for a resale certificate. They could bust my daughter for selling lemonade to double down and create some additional revenue to make up for those pension short falls.

The ACA is like a marriage between the Wizard of Oz and the Wicked Witch. You just never know what kind of insane little things might pop out. So those with a cell phone should give them up should give their phone to pay for it. Then will they will be eligible for a free phone. Just another ploy to get people under his thumb.

Now Obama is telling people to get rid of their cable and cell phones to pay for it! This is bordering on the bizarre!

I thought Pelosi said, "we need to pass it to find out what is in it". Years later, we passed it and still nobody seems to know what is in it. What a disaster! Now I read where the individual mandate will not be delayed, but will not be enforced. Its a moot point, anyone who wants to be exempt from the mandate seems to qualify as a hardship. The rules for hardship have been expanded to include everyone. Wow!

In the final analysis the ACA is dependent on young people signing up for insurance they are not likely to ever use. Maybe it could be compared to social security but how many would sign up for social security is it were optional? The ACA is just one more government scheme to redistribute the wealth of the country, taking from those who earn and giving to those who do not.

And I agree with Christoper maybe if the gop would of worked with Obama things would of been better for the American people instead they chose to take their ball and go home . I have to laugh when the gop fake concern that citizens cannot sign up for the insurance they never wanted them to have in the first place. now that's a hoot.!!

"When — and if — that happens, don't pay attention to all the inevitable excuses that will address everything from blaming bad websites to anti-tea party conspiracy theories.

The real reason will be that the government can't fix stupid without killing freedom. And, as far to the left as America has drifted lately, we haven't quite gone off the deep end." Jake Novak CNBC

"The universal individual mandate has always been the weakest operational and theoretical aspect of the ACA, so much so that Chief Justice John Roberts had to come up with the crazy idea of reclassifying the entire thing as a tax just to keep it alive. It's a ruling most Americans and Roberts himself will regret for decades to come. Our Constitutionally guaranteed freedom in this country isn't just a slogan. It means the freedom to succeed and the freedom to fail. The freedom to be smart, and the freedom to be stupid. And just because you can't fix stupid, it doesn't mean we should try to fix or amend freedom."

"Unfortunately, that's just what Obamacare does by taking money from the responsible portion of society in an attempt to force feed responsibility to another. That's the thing about responsibility: It can't be imposed or transferred from one to another. President Obama has unilaterally changed the rules of the ACA several times in the past 12 months. There will be more changes to come, including a possible long delay or outright abolition of the entire individual mandate" ht tp://ww w.cnbc.c om/id/101492996?__source=yahoo%7Cfinance%7Cheadline%7Cheadline%7Cstory&par=yahoo&doc=101492996%7CObamacare%27s%20problem:%20You

joew, yesterday BHO had the audacity to say, "I don't have the power to change the law, but I will enforce what is on the books". This was in regard to overtime rules.

What I would like to know is what all these new IRS agents are going to do besides harass the American people and the Patriots and TEA Party members in particular.
