"Medicare D is a confusing law which says you need drug coverage; media calls it the donut hole insurance."

Can someone tell Rep Reed this? He just sent out all these postcards to us seniors trying to scare us that "Medicare Advantage needs to be protected" The Advantage plan costs us taxpayers 14% MORE than Medicare. It covers all kinds of things, including gym memberships and other luxury type things. Cuts are going to be made to reduce the wastes in this program, reduce the type of services that will be made.

Rep Reed cites that studies have shown this type of coverage is more effective than traditional Medicare. I have asked to see just what studies he is referring to as all I have read is that it is a huge waste of our taxpayer money and a huge financial gift to insurance companies.

Glad that this case manger called it as it is...waste of our taxpayer money.

Before anyone disagree...look I am a liberal calling for reductions in spending...what say
