Shut 'em down, I doubt there's a single billionaire in the entire village.

Hey alfalfa, I am not for this just like am not for the government doling out all kinds of money we don't have. My problem is people like Christopher who have a hard time helping Forestville, but know problem at all funding pensions that are out of taxpayer control. This problem is miniscule. More majoring on the minor, while minoring on the major. These pensions are putting me and many others in the poor house. Couple that with the raises they keep getting despite the Great Recession and their unwillingness to pay their fair share for health insurance and everyone is getting pounded except the public employees. These are the facts. This is my reality, not the Koch Bros. and what they are doing.

She should be working for a permanent solution instead of band aid fixes. The Village of Forestville needs to be dissolved.

Like I always said when your the ones who need the handout it's ok but when someone else needs it they can go to h ell.

Watchdog, you must be barking around the clock, there is always someone doing something that is not right. That seems to be what we do here.

joe: you're already known as one of the DTs (thanks to Dcron), and even though you may be unique, your words lack originality. You truly are pathetic.

"Mergers dissolution and consolidations must be made easier and mandatory"! I agree 100%. People can't afford the current government.

Sadly, this is the only thing our Senator can do for us - give us our taxpayer money to pay to other taxpayers. Sen Young and Assemblyman Goodell cant produce real change for WNY because they are outnumbered by the power politicians in the rest of the State. Mergers dissolution and consolidations must be made easier and mandatory!

Can anyone explain to me the difference in helping Forestville and increasing the funding for the NY state teachers pension fund from 12% of their salary in 2008 to 18% of their salary now? Why should the taxpayers be accountable for the ups and downs of the stock market? Why are not people outraged about this?

Why would anyone want to succeed in this environment and be punished. The bigger the mess, the bigger the bale out. GM set the standard years ago.

Christopher, its only tax dollars. This is what we reward. Where have you been? Failed school system equals huge pay raises. Falsify time cards equals pay raises. Excessive overtime worked in pension years equals huge pensions. Whats your problem with this. I thought you would be all for it. Who else is Forestville supposed to turn to if not the government.

Have to really love listening/reading what the liberal twins post. Could be triplets but Alfalfa has opted out!

Forestville must be too big to fail.

I agree, this type of aid only encourages mismanagement. Lately though, everything Ms Young asks for, she seems to get? Then there's Andy Who, riding her coattails, or is he no longer in office?

No Paul- it's worse. This means every taxpayer in New York is paying for Forestville's incompetence. This is so wrong.

Of course, this gross incompetence is being paid for by every other tax payer in Chautauqua County.
