MINEOLA, N.Y. (AP) — The suspect wanted in a workplace shooting and whose body was found floating in the Hudson River in New York shot himself.

Nassau County Police Inspector Kenneth Lack tells Newsday ( on Tuesday that Sang Ho Kim shot himself in the mouth. He also says the 63-year-old drowned and had heart disease.

One person was killed and a second was wounded in the shooting last Wednesday at a light fixture company in suburban Garden City on Long Island. Police say Kim had a business dispute with officials there.

He fled and his car was later found in upstate Putnam County.

Newsday earlier reported that Kim's sister says he contacted her after the shooting to say he planned to commit suicide.
