Floyd and Catherine Carpenter of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Brocton, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at the Westfield Moose Lodge hosted by their children.
The couple was married on Aug. 16, 1958 at St. Patrick's Church in Brocton by the Rev. Felix O'Neil. Maid of honor was Joann Spitzer and best man was Salvatore Spinuzza, brother of the bride, who were also married the same day.
The Carpenters have three children, Debra Pacos of Arkwright, Richard Carpenter of Rockledge, Fla., and Daniel Carpenter of Tiffin, Ohio. They have two grandchildren, Sarah Pacos
