Mark and Brenda (Artise) Drummond of Dunkirk celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a picnic dinner among family and friends at The Point on Aug. 2.
The couple was married on Aug. 6, 1983 at the First Presbyterian Church on Fourth Street in Dunkirk by the Rev. Bruce Buchanan. Some of the wedding party was able to join the couple on their special day.
Maid of honor was Debbie Bailey. Bridesmaids were Judi Perry and Lesa Drummond. Groomsman was Scot Drummond. Miniature bridesmaid was Michelle Diabo and miniature groomsman was Mark A. Drummond Jr.

The Drummonds share their lives with his four children and their families - Tammy (Tony) Pinelli of East Aurora, Teresa (Doug) Bunge of Fredonia, Maridyth Drummond of Fredonia and Mark (Angela Domenico) Drummond Jr. of Fredonia. They also have two daughters together - Amanda Drummond and Syrina Drummond, both of Dunkirk. They have seven grandsons.
Mark is employed at Cliffstar Corp. and by the Faculty Student Association at SUNY Fredonia. Brenda is also employed by the Faculty Student Association.
The anniversary cake was made by a friend of the couple, Mary Kawski.
