Roberta L. (Bobbie Day) Irwin, 32, of Brocton died Monday (Nov. 10, 2008) from an automobile accident along with her son, Grant.

She was born in Renkin, Texas on Aug. 27, 1976, the daughter of Rebecca Blasdell of Brocton and Bryan W. Day of West Tawakoni, Texas.

Formerly of Honea Path, S.C., Ms. Irwin had been a Brocton area resident for most of her life. She was an employee of Bailey Manufac-turing Company of Forest-ville, NY.

She enjoyed being involved with community af-fairs such as the Brocton Festival.

Surviving are two daughters, Patience Irwin of Brocton and Rose Marie Irwin of Brocton; mother Rebecca Blasdell of Brocton; father Bryan Day of West Tawakoni, Texas; three brothers, Ari Paff of Norfolk, Va., Damian DeGolier of Brocton, Kristopher DeGolier of Brocton; four sisters, Elizabeth Reslink of Honea Path, S.C., Brenda Day of Dallas, Texas, Deanna DeGolier of Brocton, Kristen DeGolier of Brocton; and fiance Robert Chrispen of Westfield.

Predeceased by her son, Grant Irwin.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008 at 7:30 PM from the West Portland Baptist Church. Rev. Gary Henry will officiate. Friends are invited to call at the Morse Funeral Home of Brocton Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The family suggests that memorials may be made to Roberta Irwin Children's Educational Fund at Brocton's Community Bank, NA.
