Mr. and Mrs. Edward Crecraft

Edward and Carol (Schroeder) Crecraft of Forestville celebrated their 50th anniversary with an open house at the Cassadaga Legion. It was hosted by their children - Sherry Krupinski of Austin, Texas; Russell (Marla) Crecraft of Bend, Ore.; and Becky (Michael) Weaver of Forestville. They also have seven grandchildren.

The couple was married Oct. 15, 1958 at Grace Lutheran Church in Dunkirk.

Mr. Crecraft is the son of Albert and Bertha Waldron. He was self employed and retired in 2001 from Crecraft Wiring Service.

Mrs. Crecraft is the daughter of Albert and Myrtle (Palmer) Schroeder. She retired in 2000 from The Red Wing Co. Inc., where she worked for 44 years.

Out-of-town guests attending the open house came from Florida, Texas, Oregon, Maryland, Virginia, Meadville, Pa., Syracuse and Rochester.
