Joseph and Nora Greco of Silver Creek celebrated their 50th anniversary Oct. 12 at a Mass at St. Joseph's Cathedral in Buffalo with Bishop Edward U. Kmiec officiating. The Mass was followed by a reception at the Buffalo Convention Center. The couple dined with their family at Ilio DiPaolo Restaurant in Blasdell. They also celebrated with a trip to California.
The couple was married Nov. 8, 1958 at Most Precious Blood in Angola. Mr. Greco retired in 2002 from Silver Creek Central School as a payroll clerk and is a self-employed farmer. Mrs. Greco retired in 2002 from the Faculty Student Association at Fredonia State University after 21 years as an account clerk.
The couple has two children - Diane (Paul) Pagano of Silver Creek and the late Joseph P. Greco Jr. They have three grandchildren.
