Floyd and Lenore Taylor of Brocton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 7, 2008, with breakfast at the Sugar Shack Pancake House in Westfield, a cruise of Chautauqua Lake on the Summerwind Cruise Ship, dinner at the Olive Garden in Williamsville, and a vacation at the Hilton Head Resort. They have three children Tammy, Todd and Teresa and 13 grandchildren.
Taylor and the former Lenore Jane Rotthoff were married Sept. 7, 1958 in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Erie, Pa. Pastor Spencer performed the ceremony.
Taylor was employed by Davey Tree Expert Company of Kent, Ohio, owned and operated Taylor Tree Service and following retirement worked in Pennsylvania for tree removal companies as an experienced crane operator.
