Nathaniel "Nate" George of 10320 Ash Hollow Drive, Raleigh, NC died

May 3, 2009 due to injuries from a car accident. He was born in Myrtle Beach, SC on September 20, 1981 to David and Sandra (St. George) George of Fredonia, NY. He was 27 years old.

He graduated from Fredonia H.S. in 2000 and Jamestown Community College in 2004. He continued his educational career

by attending Kent State in Ohio and Wake College of Technology in Raleigh, NC, graduating in 2007. At the time of his death, he was employed as a technical engineer by Duke Energy of NC.

His interests included baseball, football, golf and pool. He was an avid fan of both the NY Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. Also, he was a volunteer for the 13th Annual Komen North

Carolina Triangle "Race for the Cure".

Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister and brother, Lindsay and Nicholas George of Fredonia, NY and his maternal grandmother, Genevieve "Jean"

St. George. Other survivors include his niece, Makenzie George, his aunts and uncles - Jim and Fran (St.

George) Alessie, Bill and Lorraine (St. George) Derby, Rick St. George, Don and Patricia (George) Lynn; and several cousins.

Nathaniel was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, the late Sam St. George and his paternal grandparents, Josianne and John George.

A funeral service will be held Friday, May 8, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the First Presbytarian Church of Fredonia with the Rev. Cynthia Wickwire Lindquist officiating.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respect at the Fantauzzi Funeral

Home at 82 East Main Street on Thursday, May 7th from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at the Forest

Hill Cemetery, Fredonia NY.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be

made to the Fredonia Athletic Department in Nate's memory.

Arrangements have been made by the Fantauzzi Funeral Home, 82 East Main St., Fredonia, NY.
