Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon (Jo) Wise of Dunkirk recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner hosted by the couple's children and their spouses: John and Paula Wise of Fredonia, Mark and Suzanne Harvey of Fredonia, and Ed and Linda Jo Griewisch of Dunkirk.
Mr. and Mrs. Wise were married on July 18, 1959 at the First United Methodist Church in Dunkirk. The Rev. Howard C. Patterson officiated at the ceremony.
Mr. Wise is retired from Fieldbrook Foods, formerly known as Dunkirk Ice Cream, where he worked for more than 43 years. He also served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959. Mrs. Wise is a homemaker.
