The 50th wedding anniversary of Howard and Beverly (Bannister) Hanmann of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., was celebrated with a brunch at Lake Wheeler in Apex, N.C., given by their children: Kevin and Alexandria Hanmann of Suffolk, Va., Craig and Lisa Hanmann of Fuquay-Varina and Linda and Robert Dolan of Wilmington, N.C.
The son of Henry and Arlene Hanmann and the daughter of Howard and Doris Bannister were married Sept. 19, 1959 in the Sheridan United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne B. Price officiating.
Mr. Hanmann retired after working for the railroad in personal injury claims for 48 years in New York.
