1. I do support downsizing of the legislature, and have proposed it numerous times during my time in the legislature. I would support a reduction to a maximum of 15. The only chance to accomplish this is every ten years, we need a significant reduction when we do it. I would propose a citizen committee to draw up the new districts, no politicians from any level of government involved. The committee should be balanced from all regions of the county, rural and city's, north-south,east-west. The legislature by law has the final say on the districts, unless the citizens would petition for a referendum on it, which I would support.

I have publicly supported a consolidation of school districts into one county district, this model works well in most states. The cost savings at the top level alone would be significant. I also believe that villages should be consolidated into the towns, and that towns of small size should be consolidated.

2. I would support a law to post bids on the internet, though I do not believe this is necessary. I believe the County exec would have the authority to do this if he so chose.
