Harvest Chapel in Fredonia was the setting for the June 20, 2009 wedding of Denee Michelle Hillebert and Paul James Marvin. Pastor Chris Schimel officiated the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of David and Cathy Hillebert of Jamestown and Jayne and Kenneth Wood of South Dayton. The groom is the son of Mary and Alan Schlageter of Ontario, N.Y. and the late James Marvin.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore an ivory lace ballgown with a champagne sash and chapel length train. An ivory double veil with champagne trim and gold and crystal tierra complemented her dress. She carried a bouquet of white cymbidium orchids, pink tulips and white hydrangeas. The maid of honor was Kristen Curry. Bridesmaids were Rachel (D'Angelo)Anderson, Janel Laurin and Amanda Hillebert. They wore celadon green gowns with champagne sashes and carried bouquets of white hydrangeas and pink cymbidium orchids. Kaylee Marvin was the flower girl, she wore an ivory lace dress that modeled the bride's dress. She carried a pink pomander. Issac Wilson was best man. Erik Siuta, Kurt Kingsley, Matthew Hillebert and Jon Hillebert were groomsman.
A video played to music was a surprise gift during the ceremony from the bride to the groom in memory of his father. Following the ceremony a dove release took place on the steps of the chapel.

A reception hosted by the bride's mother and step-father was held at the Clarion and Conference Center in Dunkirk.
A rehearsal dinner was held the previous night at the White Inn in Fredonia hosted by the groom's parents.
Out of town guests attended from Maryland, Ohio, Florida, California, and Missouri.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Pine Valley Central, 2002 graduate of JCC and 2005 graduate of Hilbert College with a B.S. in Human Services. She is a preschool teacher in Fairport, N.Y. The groom is a 1999 graduate of Wayne Central and attended Pitt-Bradford and Hilbert Colleges. He is an HR On-line advisor for Paychex Inc. in Penfield, N.Y. The couple honeymooned at Disney World in Orlando, Fla. The couple reside in their new home in Walworth, N.Y.
