Sixty years ago on Nov. 23, 1949, Barbara Lawton and James Dewey were married in a candlelight service at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Silver Creek. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Alexander Corti. The couple celebrated their anniversary at The Colony House Restaurant with family.
